On the program Microsoft Word, a teacher creates various types of documents, and after analyzing iPad apps for special needs students, a teacher can use Microsoft Word to create a review of an excellent app to keep for future reference. The review includes the name of the app, the targeted group or groups of special needs students, and the benefits of the app. A teacher creates the review for future reference because a special needs children may become one of his or her students in the future. It is important for teachers to create a file with reviews of beneficial apps for students with and without special needs. When necessary, the teacher uses the files to choose the best app for a lesson. My example of an iPad app for special needs students is appropriate for students with sensory and cognitive disabilities.
