Similar to the general software resources, teachers use content specific resources in the classroom. Based on the lesson, a teacher purchases a computer program or searches the Internet for a free educational program. Content specific resources range from educational games to read-aloud books. The teacher uses the resource to improve the students' understanding of the lesson's material. My example of a content specific resource relates back to my student-centered lesson. On the provided website, the children play educational games to help them practice identifying animals as reptiles, fish, or amphibians. Teachers use content specific resources at all levels.
